New injectors and to get them recoded your looking at around 1k.....

Then with that milage your looking at Dual Mass Flywheel and clutch very soon if it hasnt been done...another £700......

TBH its all ready over what i would want to pay IF i was lookng for one.....

IMHO start looking at VW's with the PD engine......

is it worth it, crap colour, high miles, basic steel wheels with crap trims, sellers never tell the hole story, put another 20k on it and it'll be worth diddly shite

i would leave it mate, enough good ones about for peanuts, mate of mine gave £500 for a 54 plate silver with damadged bumper and rear light loads of TnT too.

mondeos are very dear to repair once its been diagnosed, which in itself is a fuck on, done rely on the dealers to diagnose it either

if your after a cheap mondeo diesel the early mk3 tddi's are a better bet, my dads had one 7 years and its never missed a beat, a close friend of his had a 03 reg tdci and it was shit, always problems till he got rid. the tddi has an old type pump on them and injectors are not coded, far cheaper to work on

Yeah TDDis are a better bet. They still have DMF/Clutch issues but you don't get the injector issues like this one.
