My experience with Bristol street has been just as bad and all I was trying to do was return a faulty stat, it's probably still sitting on their shelf along with my money the service manager was an utter ass hole, I wouldn't piss on a Ford dealership if it was on fire.

Battery is 15 mins max as long as you're not paying I would't worry!!

I hope they've done the relevant checks before swapping it....... If they continue to fob you off get yourself to another Ford dealership who are more helpful! Its worth the hassle to travel a bit further if it gets sorted first time!

Ask if they've done a "parasitic drain" test. Simple to do but you'd be amazed at the amount of "mechanics" I've worked with had no idea how to do this lol

Ok, what does that do? My neighbour was telling me earlier he had a similar problem with the same garage, his car kept breaking down and the service manager said there was nothing wrong with it. They loaned him a courtesy car and the manager said he would run around in his for two days. He went back to the garage two days later and the manager wasn't there, he had broken down in my neighbours car 10 miles away.

It tells them if there's a massive drain on the battery somewhere. Easy to do, remove earth clamp from battery, put multimeter leads between clamp and battery and set to 10 Amps (or 20 if your multimeter goes that high) and with everything in the car turned off and all doors/boot etc shut u see if there's a drain. 50ma max, ab more and u have a drain somewhere. Next step if u have a drain is to start pulling fuses one by one u till the amp draw on the multimeter drops and there u can see what circuit is causing the drain
