LOL
Bought a new bike the other day and the bloke happened to be selling a nice black P38 so made him an offer and took it home!
Shit, didn't need it but quite like it because it's so agricultural!
There seems to be little wrong with it, all the ussual pitfalls I spotted on the net are not present in mine so it looks a good one!
Is there anyone that has good upgrade tricks and or tips?
It's a 4.6 HSE by the way, dog slow but get's the job done.

Pics?
i've got a 2.5 diesel and have run into most if not all the common problems! They're not "that" complex to deserve the reputation imho.
Complex and advanced for a car of its type of it's age yes. But compared to modern cars of today they're not that bad!

Will sort some pics soon, it's black with black windows, 18" Landrover wheels and white indicators so looks rather smart for an old P38!
Sorting out some stainless exhaust tips as well, will look a lot better than the cruddy original items!
So far I've worked out that my RH wingmirror doesn't react to the button, the rest seems to be fine for now lol
Check the fuseboxes and they are mint, will change both pollenfilters as this seems to prevent blowerfuse failure, mechanicals seem perfect although engine is a little leaky I guess.

EAS, that's the airsuspension right?
The ecu is rather agricultural, trying to level the car out all the time soon gets annoying lol
I've activated the inhibitor and it's much better like that lol
Funny thing is that I've had several big Jeeps, two Jeep GC 5.9's and I've still got a Jeep Commander as well but I much prefer driving the Range Rover because it's so...well simple and no frills I guess!

After a 30mile journey on the bumpstops I think it was money well spent.

Everybody shouts about how crap they are but there are loads still around, loads of specialist and loads of aftermarket and second hand suppliers so shouldn't be much of a problem.
Did a couple of hundred miles in it so far and the tempgauge doesn't move from the middle position, pulls well for what little power it has and I'm liking it!
