Default Oil breather

Do you need to run a separate oil breather tank if running a dry sump system?

Or can I just fit a filter to the oil tank and it breath through there

Thanks

As far as I know you don't need to use separate catch tanks with dry sump kits. A mate of mine is going dry sump and has already sold his separator/catch tanks.
