was talking to a guy the other day said he had a garaged 1300l mk3 escort, personally never heard of it, is there any value, is it worth a look, what kind of money is there in selling/breaking etc

Would be worth alook as they are a very rare sight on the roads these days,you get a fair few at shows plus the lower spec models are even more rare than the XR or RS models.

At the price some of those cars sold at I know I could have bought them, took them to my local classic car auction next month and doubled my money at least! May be worth a trip down at some point!

Used to have one of them myself. 1984 in Ceramic Blue. Same basic design CVH as the 1.6, but uses a slightly shorter block.

I have a brand new short block for one sitting in the garage.
