Default Does anyone remember............

A feature in one of the weekly car mags I think (autocar or somehting) where a 'wheeler dealer' bloke bought a £500 Rover and started trading cars to the point where he had enough profit to buy a 911?

I remember reading it, well, the first article, but never saw the rest. Wondering what happened? Did he get his 911?

No, I don't remember that Rab.

Sounds like a fantastic read though, will periodically check back and see how this thread develops.

Sounds a bit like that guy that started with a novelty paper clip and 14 swaps later ended up with a house.

Ginge, thats very similar. However, this was circa 2002-2004... I was on a tanker actually, so it was more like 2002....

Good find though!

A mate of mine swapped his way from a 1992 CG126 up to a 2007 Fireblade!

Looks a good read that

I did something similar a couple of years ago (but not up to a 911!)
Started off with a £1400 Nissan and after doing a bit of swapping, with no money involved, 8 months later I ended up with a 2003 Mercedes CLK!
