no i think it should become a club tbh. The hardest thing must be the organisation of iy a bit like RSOC like treasurer, chairman etc etc, regional managers and other stuff. Maybe stuart could shed sum light on to this matter and maybe weigh up the cons and pros of it all

i would love to get involved more to be honest bet maybe a poll should be put up? If there is enough persuasion then Stu and Pet must take action/notice etc.

It maybe a website but in generic terms its like marks and spencers-without creating new ideas and giving members what they want, it beomes stagnant. Imean this in no offence to this site what so ever, but it is a very true fact.

Well it all depends on how far people want to take it.

but saying that like a lot of clubs we already have organisers and branches. We do pay a membership fee, in fact, PF is very much a club with the exceptions of the mag and lots of cheap merchandice and that annoying membership fee. Ok you pay for golf membership, but its optional.

I do think PF can really keep pushing the boundries of what it can do.

Naturally I think that one big PF organised event is really the only next step. And you dont need people to be permantly organising it, just a comittee that for six months, are responsable for organising an event.

I'm sure somthing like that would work.

There is so much involved in running a club, when everything is running well then it's great, but as soon as the shit hits the fan, and someone dosn't like what's happening or someone pisses someone else off, it can all go to pot very very quickly...

Thing is Stu is a very very busy business man, I doubt very much he would have time to run a club, you could form a comitee, but who decides who does what? there are so many things that are required for running a club...

as it it is at the mo, pf is the best of both worlds it offers everything most people want from a club without the burocracy (sp?) and one more thing to think about... when you actually look at the total number of members on here, how many are active and how many actually drive a car etc... yes the site/forum is massive and yes it has thousands of hits etc, but look at the core membership!! is there in truth enough active members to actually carry of a club of any size? when you take into account the many on here that are RSOC or whatever?
