Nope, no other warnings but i must add that i had a "new head" suplied by, shall we say "vw experts" just under 3 years ago. Well all was good up until now and after sending the head to my Local engineer he has imformed me that NONE of the Inlet Guides had been changed and were infact all a bit fcuk'd and obviously being not the best they could be the collet came out due to the valve not in a good guide.
Valve dropped and made contact with Piston so thats cracked and snapped the cam
Being 3 years old the Co aint gonna say anything are they and there is nothing i can do apart from Rant.

Its the repair bill thats shocking ! and the fact i only had the very same job done just under 3 years ago which is even more shocking and kinda doubles the bill if you like
All in bits now and just waiting for the head to come back from the engineers on Monday
