Galaxy Heater Motor Issues
Could anyone please help me with a problem i have with my Mk2 Galaxy
The front heater comes on but then dies after a short time
Is this the motor that needs replacing or as some else said could it be the resistor
I would appreciate help off somebody please
Many thanks Carl

From memory, the motors are pretty common, sold quite a few when I worked at Fords.... Think if the resister packs up you only tend to get 1speed? I'm sure the leccy people could confirm that?
Hope you get it sorted cheaply!

Cossie stu your right resister is on them to change the speed. if your capable id suggest you take the heater motor out check the bushes in the motor the play in the shaft and clean it up . I've done this to a few cars that heater went and saved me a few quid :-D

not seen the galaxy setup but at full power I would take an educated guess there won't be a resistor in the circuit! - does it still die after 10?
if so off to a scrapper for a replacement bit!
