Default How do i know my boost level?

Hey,

This is a real beginners question. My newly purchased 3 door cosworth has a t34.68 on with greens, fmic so on so on. It was all set up by MSD in july last year.

Just want to know how i find out what my boost is. Peak and holding. Interior was kept standard, so only bas standard gauge and when you boot it, it whizzes of the end.??

Im really sorry for sounding so stupid.

Thanks.

To be fair there is no such thing as a stupid question if you genuinely dont know the answer.
Install a boost gauge, and take a note if you wanna remove it, or just keep it in and be on the safe side.

give msd a call with the reg and ask? i'm led to believe they're genuinely friendly chaps. (Of course it could have been played with since then, but it's a starting point)

maybe, it could be on some paperwork you have too

a boost gauge is easy to plum in just for a quick run if you wanted, hose thru the door shut type of thing, take it for a run and remove it all again

but its nice to have a gauge in there somewhere

pretty sure they know what boost its mapped for on file.

as above the std gauge isnt really accurate enough youll need an aftermarket one. easiest of easy when it comes to fitting
