HELP DESPERATELY NEEDED - GOING ON RADIO TOMMORROW!!
Going on Southern Counties BBC Radio tommorrow morning!
Apparently FHM voted the Ford Escort the gayest car ever, and the Ford Capri the chavviest car ever. Twats!
I'm going on live to argue the toss and defend our beloved motors and I need your help!!
Firstly, I'm gonna argue the Escort isn't gay (obviously) and need your help coming up with THE GAYEST CAR. We're thinking the Smart Car tops the lot, and also have the Jeep Wrangler and Tigra as close runners up. ANY THOUGHTS?
Secondly, the CHAVVIEST CAR EVER? We've got the Nova down as the original Chavs car (Chavs are a relatively new phenomenon after all), and now the Saxo down as the newer version?
ANY IDEAS WE CAN ALL AGREE ON?!

Without a doubt, the Nova is the original chav car. The Capri is a TV featured classic these days, and is widely regarded as one of the prettiest Fords (which is saying something). It also came with reasonable performance, and has a good club following these days too. All of those points negate any chav status it might collect.
As for the gayest car, it's got to be the new VW Beetle cabriolet, or any drop top that's more of a fashion accessory than a car........

I wouldnt say Saxo is a chavs car at all, boyracer car yea, but not a chav car (wannabee chav would have one maybe) as a proper chav couldnt afford one.

Yeah, thanks everyone I'm frantically trying to scribble everything down so I can give a smack down. Thing is (Robin) I'm on at 7:25am, 7:45 am and 8:25 am and I'm not usually awake until 9ish apart from when I'm on shoots - so I'm probably gonna mumble my way through the 'early' morning haze!!
