Spent over a hour trying to get that s**t to go on my dashboard fascia, and i gave up too many lumps, to many crinkles and it just didn't fit right...think its the moon dust silver paint instead. Has anyone else vinlyd parts of their interior if so...help!

you using 3M dinoc or the silver backed stuff? silver stuff is cheep and shocking and has no stretch! 3M is so easy to work with cant see this being your problem

Sorry mate, I also bought some of this for a Sierra dash and had no success at all, but I've seen some people (more talented than me) do great things with it.

Maybe start on some smaller parts just to get a feel for working with the material,

I wasn't using 3m but when heated it stretched a lot, but like Iain said, its hard to use, so in future I'll start small and work my way up.

First of all you need to make sure the dash is totally clean, no silicone etc. Then it depends on what material you are using, cheap stuff can be very bad, di noc is ok but not as easy to work with against a high quality cast! Then it's practice & patience

Gentle heat and slowly work the vinyl into the creases taking the tension out of the vinyl as you go

keep at it mate, it really is much easier than you think, but you have to be slow, and apply the heat evenly to force the stretch, and it'll cover most things nicely

Also remember something important! The camera can hide all sorts of imperfections, don't be fooled by peoples pictures that get posted up, and think that others are always getting it perfect, sometimes it is far from perfect but the picture merely doesnt show the imperfections.....

I've wrapped a corsa dash in it, but it won't stick to well if it's the abs plastic, it will just off,

Can you post a picture of the dash
