I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
no other cars involved + no comment from the force to how it happened, i guessing he was going to fast for whatever situation he was in
gutted hope he has a long and painful recovery

Copper ran out of talent, simple as. No other vehicles involved and police refusing to give details as to how it happened says everything.
Wish the guy a speedy recovery though as that was a nasty one

Saw this...had to read the text before I realised it had previously been an R32
Similar thing happened when they first gave cossies to the police though, a couple got totalled within a few days so they took them off them. Chances are on a test drive, normal 'protocols' didn't apply and he/she pushed a bit too hard. Plenty guys off here have done it on track, they were unlucky enough to have done it on the road.
Still wish said driver a healthy recovery though, regardless of what we may think of unmarked stealth cop cars.

very true , just a human like us but ffs!! that fekn golf is totally wrecked , now thats no 70mph or less smash .the driver has been giving it the beans so to speak and although lucky to be alive is even more lucky the stupid stupid fecker never killed anyone else whether it be another motorist or some1 walking down the street.... so you know what , i too hope he has a long painful recovery - maybe the next time he thinks he's the worlds greatest driver and wants to go for it - he'll think twice.... rant over.

ah well ,i must be a cunt then for having my own opinion , would you still be thinkin the same way jimbo if it was a thieving wee scrot that rolled it , or a drunk driver or junkie bas*ard . tell ye, see if that clown had hurt any of my family when out trying his golf ,he would've been needing more than a fecking ambulance by the time i was finished with him , policeperson or not .

I don't think you can compare this incident to someone who drink drives or steals a car for kicks, but even then I wouldn't wish for someone to have a long painfull recovery.
So yes, I do think your a cunt for thinking that.

bet he/she doesnt get prosecuted for undue care and attention/dangerous driving, they will just have a laugh about it and blame someone else for getting in the way

jimbob ,call me a cunt if u like -stick n stones son , as for wishing a copper a slow and painful recovery , yer fekn right and i would feel the same way if it was a joyrider ,drunk ,boyracer -whatever . there is absolutely no place for driving an unfamiliar car testing its limits on public roads leading to a massive shunt like that.. said driver should have known better . oh and who's picking up the tab for the accident , US the taxpayer . unfecking acceptable

"as a result of the incident, GMP is reviewing its policy on officers test driving cars".
They must do a lot of racing about or something.

Not a fucking chance. No doubt if this hadnt hit the headlines, the cop would get off with no charges at all.
Fortunately due to the media coverage, he may at least get convicted of something.
Can't be one rule for us, and another for them. I'm sure most police forces accident statistics are pretty bad. Their cars take some severe beatings they are crashed that often.
