Default a little zetec question please

is it the sensor on top of the thermostat housing that gives the signal to the ecu

the gti is killing fuel at an alarming rate at the mo

60miles on 20 quid lol

and i take it it's the lower one that gives the reading on the dash

Can't remember but unplug one when it's running. If the dash goes, you know which is which.

I thought it was the black square plug under the thermostat housing that the ecu uses

both sensors are for temp readings the top one is for the gauge and the bottom one is for the ecu

the small 1 on the bottom is dash signal, 1 on top is ecu, thats how i got mine running any how,

thats wrong mate , top one for ecu and the bottom one is for the gauge on the dash

gonna go to my local ford dealers tomorrow nd get 2 new sensors as i dont think the car is coming out of choke

very flat when given full throttle
