Default Focus gearboxes

can anyone tell me if a '00 Focus 2.0 esp box is the same as a regular 1.8 box? 2.0l ones going spare seem to be thin on the ground, and i need a box for my mums one next week

no 2.0 is a mtx 1.8 is a ib5/bc, all derv boxes are the same but with diff ratios

so a derv uses a mtx? ideal, at least that will help the search

bloomers Iv got a MTX box from a cougar would that be any good ?

yea all focus weasles have mtx75, i think the middle power one has the closest ratios to 2.0 petrol, or as chaz said cougar
