Didnt know these were officially out, not that I can afford one but I might nip round to the BMW dealer round the corner to have a closer look.
Anyway, loving this one!

I agree with Tiff. Thats one ugly motherfucker

I'm sure it'll grow on me, like the last M5 did.

Love my E39, and the new F10 but never been a big fan of the E60, but I saw an Interlagos blue one this morning and went straight onto pistonheads!

Saw one round the corner from me two days after they went on sale. Same colour as the one above. Sounded incredible, was only creeping around the streets really, but on acceleration after turning a corner the exhaust was popping heavily. Not massively loud, but really low and deep pops. Not heard anything quite like it before.

Stop posting it, you're making me want to obliterate my budget and buy an F10 5 series instead now!!

Quick note though how fast do you rate it realistically mate? I mean it won't be anything like a Cossie but realistic real world speed?

Pot calling the kettle black there Rab

I think they are the dog's f*cking bollocks, my old mans got an F10 525d msport, drove it for a couple of weeks while he was on hols and it's a fantastic car:

I think they look spot on, and I think they will hold their value v.well, look at the E92 M3 for instance, still holding their value, great all-round car.

BMW have a habit of making cars I hate then after a year or so love. The new 5 series is hideous in my eyes, really disappointed with the design when I first saw it. The E60, even in 530d guise, looks the bollox. The F10 looks boring as fook IMO. They look just like a 3 yr old 3 series saloon to me.

The top end ones look better but the lower models look rank!

Looks good from the front, that's about it.

sorry not a fan from the side profile the proportion is all wrong. I can appreciate the performance and enginering that goes in to them.

I thought the E60 was an ugly mo-fo when it came out and replaced the fantastic looking E39 but it really grew on me and I quite like the look of it these days.... however, I already like the look (and spec) of the F10, which means that in a few years time they're probably going to rate very highly with me.

Cheers,
Grant

i know most you guys don't like the yank stuff, but for a hell of a lot less money you can have something that goes round the Nurburgring quicker (unless i saw the last M5's time), and i think looks much better, is more tunnable, 6.2 v8 supercharged, 580hp from the factory, 20" wheels, £35,000, did the nurburgring 7:41.27,

ok, down side, the driving seat on the wrong side, but i think for looks alone, it would get my money, and in 5 years time it would probably be worth more than the M5

the new Camaro ZL1
