Default Throttle bodies on cvh

As the title

Does anyone have any info on what's needed to fit throttle bodies on a cvh

The engine in question is as follows

1640cc
Fully worked crank
Ultralite steel flywheel
Fardon steel rods
Accrulite forged pistons
Decked block and skimmed head
Pocketed pistons
Uprated oil pump
Arps throughout
Burton stage 3 big valve head
( head is going to wpe for some extra work)
Newman phase 3 cam reprofiled for 5500rpm too 9000rpm
Newman solid lifters and puma race engines double valve springs

I know I need a dcoe inlet and jenvey 45s ect but what would I need to pick up sensors/ coil pack ect to make run

Looking at megasquirt or omex

Drill the block and run a crank sensor and efi flywheel.

Then squirt and a set of bodies. You going dry sump for that many revs ?

Here's one I built on throttle bodies. Yet to have it to the rolling road yet.

They are bike TB's though.

think you may have to change to efi flywheel for the sensor. if it was me id just fit a pair of 45s. would love to have a cvh this spec in my xr2. would go like stink and must sound awesome at 8000rpm. be fantastic round a track as long as chassis and brakes are well specced

you can always fit a camshaft sensor and use that, doesnt have to have a flywheel sensor

bodies definately a better idea than carbs, carbs belong on historics and thats about it!

They are gaxr throttle bodies 38mm. It's a xr2i block with crank sensor. People have had good results with bike tbs.

That engine has lightened and balanced bottom end
Arp rod bolts
1300 pistons to raise compression
1640cc ish
stage 3 big valve head with stainless race valves
Kent cvh27 rallym 3500-7500 rpm with double springs and mechanical lifters and adjustable vernier
Then the throttle bodies. Haven't got a clue what it will go like but should be ok.

To be honest mate unless you can map yourself I wouldn't go with megasquirt. I would look around and see what your local mapper prefers to map and knows how to map it.

I use DTA now as megasquirt isn't that cheap any more, not like it used to be in the early 00's, it also uses or did do cheap poor quality components that had no place within a ecu, Dorn't get me wrong the megasquirt can do well but I struggled to get a couple of well reccomended rolling roads to map it as they wouldn't touch it as they said it was a DIY ecu and i could understand where they were coming from. Dodgy solder joint lets go because its been soldered together in someones bedroom and it melts a engine.

I agree that if you dont want to map it yourself then find a mapper first and use something they are happy with.

By the sounds of his cam, I doubt he'll have much torque anyway TBH unless high up in the rev range, and the 45s will be ok there.

cheers guys ive had alook around and as i said to the missus ive got no rush because ive got a mk2 frs to use anyway.

ive been looking at options for ecus, and its between dta, omex and ms.

i was looking at 45mm jenveys because i know where to get them for a good price, and knowing me i will end up with a zetec later lol

the ms for Ł360 is cheap though and would that come with loom kit and just need a trigger set up, because if thats all it will need i will just do that
