Yes thats right, Just been told they dont do classic insurance on cossies anymore.

according to the person my brother just spoke to, he got told they dont do classic cossie insurance

get him to phone up again cos just comfirm with my m8 and his policy starts on 1st of next month 3000 limited mileage agreed value etc under £500

Alvyn,

They dont do modified, plus they dont class sapphs as classic as they only really class classic cars built before 1984.

Think thats wrong as they do my 3 door and thats 87,also the guy who put me in touch with them has a porsche and thats a 90

i'm through c.n. and the lad told me that they go off the mileage to determine classic status, mines a 92 j reg on classic , 3k miles restricted, i fookin hope they aint stopped it as they are a top company, they do not howevr touch a coz modified in any way

SapphyMike, Thats right m8 they told me the same thing then i said well the s1 is with you and im swopping the cover over as the s1 is going and im getting the saff

So they said well we cant do it as its not classed as a classic ,
I said can you quote me at all with a new policy they had me on hold for about 3or4 mins and asked loads of questions and then said we can swop it over to the s1 policy

But it was about 10/15 minutes in total for an extra £70

But it was'nt easy i had to basicly say that i would go else were and stop the s1 policy which was only 7 months old

had an email from them - will deffinately only insure your cossie if its standard
