EECIV plenum covers......
does anyone know how much eec4 plenum covers go for?
anyone got any pics of them on and off the car?

RS GUS has got one for sale converted to run 8 inj
Standard one went on E-Bay for Ł26 the other day

I sold one for Ł60 to Jim Green....
Unless the pictures were close up off the car, you wouldn't tell the difference. The important bit is the elbow that the throttle-body bolts to.....

why do people use this when doing big hp engines?
Is there so much better flow in them ?
I'm here thinking of the MAD 520hp in the performance ford mag?

I sold my plenum cover and throttle body minus all sensors for Ł150.
NO Mike not YOUR throttle body as i am using that one

Yes....if you compare the EEC4 plenum/elbow with a 4x4 you can see a big difference in flow.....

i drive the 2wd elbow+plenum, is that worse than the 4wd elbow and plenum ?

Yes.....but its still capable of flowing around 430bhp!!!The 4x4 is a 460ish bhp plenum/elbow.

has that eec4 been modified?
If not wont it be easy to do 8 injector set-up?
that plenum and a 2wd injector throat ?

it has been modded to take 8 injectors yes and will bolt straight on a 2wd inlet so u just swap the cover
and bolt the 2wd throttle body on it

4 1000ml injectors should be ok, or no?????

yes some will always use 8 some will use 4 as some say 8 get better responce low speed fuel atomisation ect
