I love em Always dead interesting, loads of "official" conversions ive never heard of.
Plenty of FORD ones too- Didnt realise the old TVRs ran an Essex V6 with a turbo on em

Yea, i was on the lookout for a silvia turbo a while ago, but now they got dead rare and not cheap anymore.
I had a bluebird turbo for a week! Same engine as Silvia Turbo but FWD. I REALLY wanted to keep it but someone offered me twice what i paid for it so it had to go.
old tasteless wank looking basic turbo cars from 25-30 odd years back are ace Just finding them for cheap aint easy

When I had mine no one done any upgrades for it apart from a dump valves pmsl, When I sold it I found out about silvia engineering, was gutted then lol
Did like the car and have seen some nice ones about at the pod etc. Would make a good cheap track car i would of thought.
But as you say its finding a good one
One of my all time favorite 80s cars is the MK1 Astra GTE, I know its not turbocharge but thats easily sorted using a calibra turbo lump etc.
Will have one one day for a little project.
But same as the silvia, very rarte and and very hard to find a good one now, the good ones that are about go for alot of money.
