Default Twin coil pack/firing order help!?!?!

After some help, we are stuck with my new engine.
It came out of a running car and has gone into mine, but unfortunately none of the leads/packs are marked for what cylinder they are. and all leads are the same length.
Can anyone think of any way of finding the firing order?
We have tried turning it over by hand with plugs plugged into the leads and earthed out, but it's not sparking at such low RPM

The packs in question.............

We have had it running on 2 cylinders so far, but thats as far as we can get.

Any help would be amazing!

if its wasted spark ,then it will batch fire,

so leads 1 and 4 on one coil,

2 and 3 on the other.

the lead order on each coil won't matter, because if its wasted spark its just two single coils, meaning 1 coil will fire both of its cylinders at the same time.

if thats the case you just need a wiring pin out, and pick out the signals which will reference to which cylinder they fire.

are you sure its not wasted spark?

how many feed wires does each coil have?

if its 2,just a live and a trigger, then it is just a simple wasted spark system, 1 and 4 on one coil, 2 and 3 on the other.

we have tried is in that configuration, but still to no sucsess. Definatly all 4 leads are sparking but engine will barely run on 2 cylinders and plenty of backfiring. Typical incorrect firing order. I believe its on SM4 ECU

I'd have just phoned you at home Rod not on Christmas or boxing day though, obviously

Wong, PM Rod, he's always there to help and knows more than most about Autronic! I suspected yours was SM2 wasted spark, as my SM4 setup has one coil per cylinder - so assuming that's sequential Rod?

You Sure it just aint had a cold start map done?
Seen a couple of cars like that, seemed like they misfire etc cos the cold start wasnt mapped..
But as said, how many wires are actually going to the coil packs? 2 or 3 to each?

Sounds like a wiring problem, or a sensor problem to me. Have you got a laptop and comma cable for the ECU? You can download the software from Autronic's website and see if there are any error codes
