trigger wheel help please

Default trigger wheel help please

ok heres the trigger wheel on my 2008 r1 its 24-2 in the settings in the emerald ecu it asks for the degrees before tdc it triggers judgeing by this picture it looks like 225 degrees??? can someone help me confirn this! should add the picture is of the engine at tdc on cylider 1 with the crank sensor at the bottom

Cant you set it about right get it running then make sure 100% with a timing light. You would be able to dial it in 100% then

My reply confused me lol. On my mates starlet i fitted a trigure wheel wired in the ecu got the car running. The found true TDC and marked it. Then Made sure the ecu was firing 15* BTDC then set my snapon timing light to flash 15* BTDC and ajusted the settings in the ecu till my marks alined.

If the drawing is correct, and rotating clockwise. Then TDC is occuring 8 full teeth after the missing tooth.

360/24=15 x 8 teeth = 120deg
