Is it running okay? Had the car checked out for fuel leaks? What fuel are you using?

There is a guy on here called Bailes who knows all about Focus MPG... fire him a PM for further info.

It might take a while for him to get back to you, since he's probably out getting a festive gobble off a roger moore, so please bear with him.

Cheers,
Grant

90 miles less from a 60 litre tank is only about 7mpg
it is winter now and we tend to leave cars running a bit longer and all the electrics on etc so i would say theres nothing wrong with it

Cylinder head temp switch mate. That or it's losing compression. Quite common on these.

Also could be a blocked cat

dont think its because of the cold weather ive owned it a couple of years now and its always returned 390/400 miles a tank, just seems a little strange how its dropped off and my mates st170 mpg isnt much different

It'l be the cold weather!
Check out the spirit monitor in my sig. Just click the MPG logo.
I've done from ~45mpg to 35mpg just cause of the cold weather. Sucks really

I started work in September end between 26th Sept and the 27th Oct I was getting a good 40mpg.
Then it starts dropping off another 5mpg or so.

Was getting 250miles to the first half of the tank and now around 200miles. Abit depressing really
