Default what car in australia

hi everybody yesterday i was really disappointed cause i was checking the australian car market for cosworths (i ll be moving there soon) and not many pop up 6-7 and those where realy expensive. i like the sierra or the escort chasis so what else is there to buy that looks like cossies down under?

The way I understand the import rules is that you have to have owned the car for at least a year in your previous country of residence in order for it to be clased as your own vehicle.

This is based on having just shipped a 996 Turbo to Sydney

You have to have owned it and insured it, have it taxed and MOT'd thats if the cars post 1989.. Pre 89 can be imported with none of that if you know how. Iv imported a fair few cars now.

mine is a left hand but didnt see any sapphs at all ,even 1.6 lt to buy it and tranfer the engine and running gear from the cossie

Buy a V8 Aussie muscle car mate .. If you can push Cossies to 500hp what can they go up to?

Or Buy a Toyota landcruiser V8 Diesel and never pop a bonnet again.
