Default 1 more fitting a cossie turbo to an RST question

Sorry about posting another question. I just want to ask one more thing.

If i was to supply a cossie turbo and a RST manifold/downpipe would it be an exspensive job for someone to fix it all together so it bolts striaght on? or is it just not worth it?

I can get you an adaptor made up, or ask any pipe bending firm to make one up for you. The flanges are the most expensive part.

No that would be all you need - of course the actuator and bracket will be needed from the Cossie unit, add to that the water and oil feed/returns from the RST, and that is it.

Here's the adaptor I'm producing. This is the prototype, which now belongs to Gra. I'm having more made up, and I'm planning to get them ceramic coated and then sell on. If anyone wants more details, please PM me. The elbow is 3mm steel, and the flanges are also steel. I can do them in stainless or Inconell if required.

This is the turbo setup on my car at the moment:-

With this kind of setup, If I wanted a T34 could I just fit a standard cossie item or would I need an adapter between the RST exhaust manifold?

That adapter looks neat - although my only concern on a big power engine is the acute angle. Certainly for a direct fit point of view it's spot on. Guess the alternative is to have the exhuast modded.

lol. It really appeals to me that i can just bolt it on though. Don't like anyone working on my car unless it's a setup etc - could do this myself..
