Default Cordless Impact Wrenches

I've noticed how cheap these have got recently (not snap-on - they'll always be expensive!)

But what Im wondering is in a lot of the specs there is a "no load" speed" and an "impact speed"

what does this mean?

If its the same as those cheap'o 12v plug into u're fag lighter jobbie where it spins up and then engages then I'll be steering well clear of em coz they're crap!!!

But I used a snap on one at the weekend it was like using an air impact rachet (almost!)

This is what Im talking about btw...

i think one is under load it actually sort of charges up before delivering the torque ie there is a pause from when you press the trigger and it actually going.

were didd you see that one as i wouldnt mind trying one too

do a search on ebay for cordless impact wrench. There are plenty going for little money (£40 - £100)

but at that price Im dubious as to what sort they are.

The snap on one I used was just like a normal gun, in that it had variable speed control and when it was under load it would hammer.

Im just wondering if these ones have that stupid spin up thing.

So this one is likely to be a crappy spin up jobbie?
