Angry How to get some power back? Nissan done me...

Hello,

So saturday i was on the motorway and off from a roundabout i had my foot all the way down really "trying" to give it some and a nissan NOTE was just gliding by... i just could not believe it! Been done by a note!

I know my car is no sports car by any means but come on!

Its a MG ZS 120+, i am not expecting to be the fastest thing on the road but just round up some old horses that got away... Think its all of them!

Think i am going to get ripped for saying this

Also i am not going to sell the car so no need to say

Cheers!

I think it may be due a service, maybe a rebuild if its that shit!

I did think of an induction as the exhaust would be to much

May just have to live with it! It does feel like there are many dead spot while driving.

Also i dont know who told me there good on corners?? Ive almost been out the road 100 times! The back end wont stay anywhere

mg 120's tend to make a lot of noise as they trundle past but the noise is deceiving.

REALLY thinking of selling it now... Today i went out with my mate in his Leon FR and i know its not cossie speed but love the pick up.

So thinking for the cheap price you can get clio cup 172, am i thinking like a cunt for this?

There about 35 mpg if driving slow and still get good pick up! Abit basic in side and been told there like a track car so not alot of comfort.

Are they worth it?

ive had a few na escort vans and although they are slow accelerating they would all hit 110mph (on the speedo) given enough time ha. me and a mate drove from sunderland to santa pod and it sat at around 90-100mph most of the motorway part. dont know how fast that was in reality but i hardly got overtaken so must of been doing reasonable speed

The best thing about the car is that the speed is 100% correct! Ive had the sat nav in the car and from 20 to 90 it is spot on

Other than that I HATE IT

Looking at 172's as the 182's are more monies.

The one I went in had no where near 120bhp! I'd have been surprised if it had 90! They're either all shit, or suffer from a common problem which robs a load of power!

A lad tried to 'race' (I use that term loosely as a horse and cart would have given him a run for his money) me up a dual carriageway (up to 70 officer) in one of those mg zr things, gave it the big 'un, and even me in my little 100bhp fiesta pulled away from him, and after 2 roundabouts, he was no where to be seen.

For some reason all the owners of them round here think they're the bollocks, all young lads that think they've got the fastest car in the world, really is strange. Gets on my tits when I'm sitting at 30 in a 30 and they feel the need to sit up my arse trying to egg me on! Although, granted that's not just mg drivers lol.
