Default Engine angle?

Been thinking about this but dont actually know anything about it.

Sitting an engine in the engine bay what effect would it have by having the engine sat at a different angle?

Whats the best way of changing the angle? Custom mounts? Ect

Biggest thing to worry about is the oil ways not workign properly as returns anymore or the oil pickup not picking oil up correctly.

at a guess i think this would only really apply to a dry sumped race engine and the only thing i can think of is to drain the oil to the front/rear of the sump pan to allow you to get the pick up pipe from one place , also i think the main reason for tilting the engine is for better weigh over the front wheels or because of room inside an engine bay

cheers paul

the main advantage of sitting the engine at an angle is to lower the centre of gravity to improve handling
