My vote goes to this....

Though IMO the Rouse cossies look very dodgy, I always have a chuckle when they enjoy clut status because they are rare!

i used to agree, but a mate of mine built one years ago that really was nice, painted purpley blue instead of red, and lots of custom touches, that, even now i'd imagine, would look good, and this was 10 years ago.
Was also a 300 odd bhp LET in it!
But i get what you mean, standard, gash.

Ive never seen them subarus before. It looks shit imo.

I think them mulit coloured polos were horrible.

They did a special edition fiat secentio where the bonnet, boot lid, front and rear bumpers and wing mirrors were a different colour to the rest of the car.

Yep. The parts were available as individual add ons from STi too iirc. The 201 had the lot chucked at it.

Rouse Sports saffs werent special editions as they were sold as a "conversion" by Rouse Sport, bodykit parts were to aid airodynamic eficiancy
*remove bobble hat and re-open addenoids*

I'm not sure thats a real model it looks like an Ali G styled R5 GT has morphed into imported WRX.

I had an S202 impreza which was an very special bit of kit but it didnt have any of that shit body kit on it just was a hardcore, good handling 4x4 turbo.

I like the look of the Mk2, I very nearly bought an SRI 130 years ago - but the Calibre kit looks daft IMO.

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't they based on the sport models, not the popular models? Either way, you can't inlude a rwd Escort on any list of "worst cars"

I actually think Bugatti (Volkswagen) have murdered the Veyron with all these stupid Ltd Editions they keep bringing out, one off's etc. They should have done what McLaren did with the F1 and Ferrari with the Enzo - build somewhere between 250 and 500 of them in total, and if anyone wants a commissioned car to their own design then fine. I think the Veyron is a total white elephant, in addition to the financial aspect.

These two must be up there.

I don't know how anyone can say the Rouse Sierra was crap really. Faster, better to drive, better handling, better seats, better aero. Yeah, what a dog

Any car where a dealer puts a few decals on and changes the wheel trims and calls it a special edition.
There are more cars on here that deserve the accolade of 'special edition' than some of those sorry efforts!

Didn't Ford do a mk5 or 6 Escort RS2000 F1 edition ? I remember seeing a pic somewhere. Utterly pointless in my opinion. A gear knob and badge is all it had. Might be wrong.

Never in this county I don't think. They did the Sauber edition, and Heinz Harold Frentzen (sp) edition too. The Sauber had stripes and things on it. You occassionally see brochures and things for them on ebay.

Not a great special edition, but I can think of worse.
