Default Any hgv fitters on here

Help required on ghanging twin plate clutch on renault premuim, done the job just carnt get the clutch to clear so can engage gears, if you pump the clutch you can get a gear but bites at the floor, have bleed clutch and adjusted the rod on the slave clyinder but still no avail. Plz help ta rich

Did you put the intermediate plate in the right way?

the whole clutch kit came preassembled with four holding bolts so just bolted it up, but after the second time i pulled the gearbox out i pulled it all apart and its all been bolted up right, going to try a genuine renault clutch tomorrow

Try back bleeding the clutch ie from the slave cylinder back,oh and it,s technician not fitter lol

Problem solved . Put a genuine Renault sach clutch in bolted all back up and set slave adjustment to where it was originally and it's perfect. Thanks for the help. Lessoned learnt never get a cheap and nasty clutch lol.

Volvo's are usually the ones that are a nightmare with those spacers !!!

Bet the genine clutch wasnt that much dearer ither,plus carries a 12mths road side warranty threw europe
