Default FAO HGV drivers

Any of you hold a ADR license? Thinking of getting one.

Is it hard and how much does it cost?

Also hiab, how much is that? Any ideas?

Im gonna go back to hgv driving as im 90% sure im moving out soon so need a job with better pay lol.

What hgv jobs pay well? Dont particuly want to do multi drop as ive done way too much of that in my time lol.

cheers
Benn
p.s will be looking for jobs around the dartford area

dunno bout adr, but I have hiab. dont use it though, money round here for hiab is no difference to normal driving and there is alot of responsibility using one, I aint gonna have the responsibility for no extra cash.

Adr I think is also split into catorgories so depends what you want ie haz chem / toxics etc. but not 100%.

good money but hard work

benn, if you have your class 1 and dont wanna do multi drop there are alot of supermarket rdcs round dartford way. asda, tesco, sainsburys and co op all have these. money is pretty good to. only downside with 1 hitters is it is often funny shift patterns but obo the money reflects this. super markets are usually no nights out aswell if thats what you want!

Benn, theres a Co near to where i work that pays Hiab/grab drivers £130 a day.

In comparison i'm on inbetween £70 - £120 a day on the tippers.

Isn't the ADR licence for carrying chemials?

IIRC the Hiab tickets is about £500ish.
