Will a 2.5 n / a transit take an exhaust manifold and turbo to make it a turbo or is compression ratio to different?

...hi i think you can do it as i had a 2.5 n/a with a turbo/intercooler conversion. I doubt the compression was altered...the receipt was from Lancaster Diesels it cost 2k in 2005, maybe worth a call.

management is not needed and the electronic fuel pump will be canged for mechanical
basically we have a fishing boat at work thats come in with a marine converted transit engine. it runs different exhaust manifold that is water cooled with a much larger turbo plus water cooled air cooler all cooled by sea water via a pump mounted on the idler pulley
the engine is in need of work so the cheapest option is another 2.5 transit engine and put all the marine conversion bits on.
only thing is the turbo one I bought for him is in worse condition and the only other they have is a non turbo. do i put the head from the turbo on the non and use that or is it more different than that. or do I need to bother and put the stuff including turbo on the non??
