its 500bhp already i had a complete s/t inlet on it with t/b and when i spoke to tony @ turbosystems he advised that if i changed to a better flowing plenum it would aid throttle response and mid range pickup i could use a std throttle body to get the power i have but as i already have the larger throttle body it seems silly not to use it

Fair enough, was going to say if your using standard don't bother as there is no restriction there, but if already on the bigger pipes fair enough

My EECIV TB has the same bolt spacing as a 2wd TB. Its just the holes are bigger on the EECIV.

The ST tb has a diff shape for the idle valve outlet and using it on there normal inlet will cause this to overhang it and leak so it cant be used.

Out of interest what benefits does using either a 500 or ST throttle on a Hart inlet have over using std size 2/4x4 throttle? which mine has got

None brammer, as above. I've said it on here before we've seen 700bhp on a standard tb. And 726 to be exact on a rs200 evo engine which has a smaller than 2wd tb!n

A table i have found for the hart inlet.

Std TB + Hart then RS500 TB + Hart

4000, 278lb/ft 215bhp - 280lb/ft 230bhp
4500, 325 & 276 - 331 & 291
5000, 350 & 331 - 360 & 334
5500, 347 & 364 - 365 & 377
6000, 340 & 388 - 356 & 407
6500, 335 & 411 - 352 & 435

Figures from a engine dyno
