why there no difference on a 3 door apart from the anti roll bar mount is on the outside of the arm and the usual extra bit welded on the beam for the 500

teach you to go eleswhere just use sapphire cossie ones with the sapphire roll bar as its thicker than the 3 door one plus there easier to get if you bend one I have a few in stock with poly bushes fitted if needed I also have proper 3 door ones

I am sure that a saff rear arb won't bolt up to the 3 door chasis regardless of which arms you use! I remember when building my white one with saff rear arms that we ended-up cutting the arb mounting points off them and re-locating them to the outside so we could use the 3 door arb as the saff one wouldn't fit

Did 3 doors have ABS?

The ARB is thicker on the Cossie 3 door than on the 4i - from memory the 4i one is a tiddly 10mm or so, and the 3 door Cossie one is 14mm. I can get a pic of one of the 4i ARBs if you want it, but don't have the arms etc.

The early arms have the lugs on the outside for the long ARB, and the Sapphire has them on the inside for the short ARB.

The later arms and ARB should go on but you need to make new mountings for the shackles on the bottom of the car, but I think the Cossie beam takes a 7.5" diff while the 4i one is only 7".

As has been said the 4i arb is smaller in diameter but the same length etc....
If you want to do the job properly you will need a 3dr arb and 3 dr rear arms that way it will bolt in as and where it is supposed to!
