Default thought i had a dodgy wheelbearing

on the van ... low droning on 30 mph + ...................
found the problem...

looks like the tyre has lifted up in that part and worn out .... shame it went in for a service 2 weeks ago and they never noticed it ...
think the boss is in shouting mode tomorrow
only reason i found it was the bastard was flat 3 hours later ... gotta love contract vans

My car makes a dull droning noise when going along but the wheel bearings are fine and its had 3 sets of alloys with diff tyres on it and still does it.. bloody annoying !

Looks like someones been doing handbrake turns in that van

Inside of the tyre probably failed, good job youve spotted it may have blown out, maybe was overinflated?

djmillsy, they were a matching set of hankooks on the old alloys and theres 2 contis and 2 dunlops on the current alloys?
