Default Best way to set up a new cossie cambelt?

Hiya, tomorrow my cossie cambelt goes on if it all goes to plan, but whats the best way of setting the tension? it says in the workshop manual you need a special tool, but is there a way of doing it?

Cheers

when fitted correctly ,you should be a ble to twist the belt on the long side,

about 45degs.

Best to fit the belt and then rotate the engine a couple of times before finally

checking the tension.

Don,t forget that the tdc mark is the back edge of the ign pickup point

on the bottom pulley, nearest to the firing mark on the pulley.

cheers,puddy
