Was a cracking day mate. And the car is still alive so you shouldn't have it on your doorstep at 8:00am on Monday

Hooge thanks to yourself, Gemma and Clare and everybody else behind the scenes.

And I apologise to Keith G666 for his brown trouser moment on the back straight

Fao the moaners

At the end of the day we started this "project" 7 months ago with NO money in the bank and not even a bank account...... I won't say how much the day actually costs but put it this way you could buy a decent 3dr Cossie for the money , now myself my wife Gemma and Clare have spent alot of time sorting this out and it does piss me off a bit when I hear people maoning.......

A few facts for you......

Palmer Sport are only insured for 250 vehicles ( this includes track cars, traders vans etc, then show cars as well...)to be on site at any 1 time so there is absolutly NO way that we could have had anymore cars in the site.

The cost for an event like this in summer months would mean that a track pass would be Ł400, additional driver Ł200, general entry Ł25 per car....... perhaps now people will see why we had to do our 1st ever show/track day in the colder months....

Also please remember that this was the 1st EVER Beds show and you know what they say...... learn from your mistakes , we always knew we wouldn't please everyone thats just how it happens i'm affraid

Thanks to all who helped to organise a great day at Bedford, I think I have frost bite and I have 10gig of photos to sort through but it was a great day watching the track action!

Thanks again

Chatting in the pits at the end of the day and all the drivers were on such a high, people like Porkie and Mike Rainbird getting lots of quality track time in, I only wish I had been out on track as well!

Still, great to catch up with everyone for the first show of the year

I dont actually see the problem with the food.

The kitchen was open 8.30am until 11.00am then reopened at 12.30 thru till 14.30. Also, they have never served food like that before, normally they do buffet style food like rice etc..... IMO I think the food was spot on, exactly what I asked them for and a very good prices compared to some shows.

Anyway, enough now, im off to get pissed

Great Day, very cold tho well fookin gutted my car didnt make it, sooooo many nice cars there too, Porkies was my fav car of the day tho awesone car, was lookin damm quick, wouldnt have minded taking a ride in that

Also tho considering it was Beds group first ever show with no help from the RSOC i think Steve/gemma & Clare did a top draw job, and surley as long as the 1st show is a viable success then it can only get better and maybe bigger, plus the weather bar the wind was damm perfect for track action
