I have spent the entire morning, driving around every scrapyard in and around my area, trying to source a set of mk1 focus facelift headlight plugs so i can fit the facelift headlights ive made onto my mk1. Ive been on ebay and searched and rang 3 or 4 people breaking focuses and nothing.

Ive had one place that would sell me them, but wanted £30 for the pair, or take the whole engine loom for £40. wtf?

I then had someone offer me the pair for £35

and everyone else refuses to cut them off the loom?

2 measely bits of plastic and a few inches of wire, seriously? Is that too much to ask, couple of the scrapyards ive used before, one sold me a bumper for a tenner, a wing mirror for a fiver, but 2 measely plugs and a bit of wiring they want stupid prices or just wont sell them? I don't understand it, is the few strands of copper in about 5 inches of wire worth that much? Or is it something else?

Now every wire colour for each function seems to be the same? except for one, the direction indicator earth are different colour wires? So is it just the wiring that is different or is it a completely different shape/style of plug?

Im about ready to give up and just buy a tacky set of angel eyes or a new pair of mk1 lights and darken them !
