They are worth it, but B&M no longer make them so when they come up for sale they still do for £200 or there abouts. The Fiesta version is identical, just need to use the ERST rods.

One niggle. They dont return to centre. If you have an ib5 puma or fiesta box this problem is solved but a standard S2 lsd box relies on the springs in the original selector to do this. but they're removed as part of the kit.

They do have springs in them for return but they are a bit crap. I put some washers in mine to put them under more load which helped but wasn't great. When I had the box rebuilt we added an IB5 return into the box and it's made it loads better.

There great, take some getting use to but apart from that all is good with them.

Gives a nice solid feeling to the box when bashing threw the gears lol.

Yes, you remove the standard springs from the undercasing, but the BM unit itself has 2 built in springs either side of the lever . If the take off the top casing with the two black countersunk bolts they are under this. I added a washer to each, but like you say, still shit. My shift with a BC box, IB5 sprung selector and BM shifter is epic! Lol

Ah i get you now. i didn't dig that deep with mine. But like you say, B&M with a IB5 mech would rival any proper H gate. They're brilliant.
