Default bluefin question

im selling my mk1 focus RS and was wondering if i have to let the bluefin handset go with the car or can i sell it seperatley? is it registered to my car forever now?

Let it go with the car, or keep it as a fault code reader. It is coded to your car now (although will work as a fault code reader on any OBD equipped car) They may have changed their policy but if someone took them a s/h Bluefin they'd give you £25 off the cost of a new one, or charge you around £250-300 to re-code it rendering them worthless secondhand.

as Dan said, you can keep it as a fault reader or give it away with the car, however, if it is under a year old, superchips will reset the handset for you (you have to take the map off the car and put the original back on there) but then you can sell it seperatley and will be good for another car....
