There was one at Rs national day. Might be the same one? Was chatting to him and he said it would be up forsale soon. I asked him how much, he replied £13000 which I thought was reasonable.

Funny enough was out the other night in my car, and was asked by a guy in a petrol garage if i wanted or knew of any one who wanted to buy an 1600i with 1800 miles on it, said that bonkers had been to look and made an offer,but was not enough ,must be this car ,guy gave me his card aswell

I would want all previous MOT's to back up the mileage. I really don't get why it has never needed a service either!? So has it got 20+ year old oil in there?

Making comparisons like that is pointless,if you're looking for a very very low mileage original RS1600i then you're not going to just say oh no wait,i'll buy a BMW instead because it's nearly the same price.

Waste of a good car TBH, spend all that money and for what? A mk3 escort to clean to use, you can get a heavily modified escort cos for that which you wouldn't need to worry about using.
