Stolen!!!!!!!!! and FOUND!!!

Ive just had a call from my good friend Darron and a friend of ours, Des, has had his Pop stolen.
This is from the Croydon/Selsdon area.
Ambassador Blue Pop - YLA 152
Lowered, wide steels, Sidevalve.
I still feel sick to my stomach, so i cant even think how Des is feeling. He adores this car and the work he has put in to it is immense. Lets get it back..........

Sorry to hear this. I hope it gets as much publicity as others on here that have advertised a stolen car. TBH I just dont think you will. I hope I'm wrong but life is full of packs and if your not Alpha dog????????
Personally I think this crime is as bad as any other . I honestly hope the owner gets a lot of publicity and the car gets returned.
Lovely classic car by the way and far from being crap.

It does seem an odd car to steal though because, like you say, surely they wont be able to sell it whole and the bits will stick out like a sore thumb!!

It was stolen from Croydon, South London. It is lowered, has wide steels on it and all period extras as seen in the photos. Oh, and it has an very low mileage on it and original plastic seat covers over the original leather. It was stolen from his garage!!!!!

Hi guys,
Great news that Des got his car back today in one piece, except for the gear knob.
Darron got a strange phone call from a "young chap" saying he'd found "the little blue motor". The car was left in Nutfield train station car park which is about 10/15 minutes from Des' house. He's absolutely over the moon and would like to thank everybody thatrelied and helped in spreading the word on his Pop.

It did seem that way Jed. Do think the coverage on the www made the car useless to the theiving gits so they gave it back.
