Default over fueling on msd 380 convo

been trying to sort out over fueling on the car, thought fuel reg was fucked so i changed that for a new one and set pressure,same.co2 set ,same.if the timing was out would it cause the car to back fire liighting up the fuel in the exhaust?before anyone says i would love to get a set up but theres just nobody near me to do it unless a tuner is taking a hoilday on the south coast of spain in the near future.
tried ring msd today but no one available to talk to me and no one rang me back neither.

if the timing is out yes it may i know they do run rough

you have the timing on the crank pulley to the peg and not the V

well if it's to the left of the peg and the cam pulley arrows point towards each other then the timing should be fine.

are you sure you gave them the full spec of your car for the chip? i had trouble with my off the shelf chip with the fuelling being way out and when i took it to them for setup it turns out i have either a mildy ported head or cams have been changed or both! as they could not get the fuelling right for what i thought was my spec without some fine tuning of the chip
might i add it runs perfect now
