Right, have changed the crank sensor for a new one and still the problem is there.

Starts up fine for around 5-10 seconds then starts to die. Have to keep revs up to stop it stalling then it backfires and misses!

What else could i try? I have good sprak. Its not the crank sensor!

What else could i check? Anyone????

so you are definitely saying you have a good spark from all 4 plugs.... if so... i assume the engine is in good condition and you don't have an issue with compression then you need to check for fuel... can you hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the key to position 2?

Checked the spark again as someone said it could be the coil breaking down. Have really good spark on all 4 so it can't be the coil can it?

What does the ESC module do? I spilt some water on it when i changed my rad, could it be that?

Another thing, ive only started the car up 2-3 times with new plugs in it and they are BLACK already, what could be causing that?

I had the same problem on my 3efi. Changed absolutley everything, and still run rough. Last thing i changed was the vacuum sensor or map sensor whatever its called on the bulkhed and it worked. I borrowed one from another car before i got one from a breakers.
