You need new out put shafts with the quaife, not mentioned in the rally design ad, but at that price they should be included.

kev, have you a poly diff mount that you fitted at the same time?
they create a lot more noise and you may be mistaking that noise for a diff noise

I did Andy,changed to the adjustable beam and fitted solid mounts at the same time.

ive got a gripper in mine and have recently taken the solid beam mounts off and poly ones back in and the car feels so much nicer to drive .. i wanted a quaife but the gripper came up local brand new at a real good price..

It's a pity a cheap Ford Racing Torsen diff for an 8.8" wouldnt fit. $560 and will take all the abuse you can throw at it.
I'd never fit any diff with a diff pin over a Torsen style. Diff pins and planet gears just break so easily.
