Who's been racing EVO's?? (Chester) White 3DR Cossie..TOP!!!

Car: VI RS2, Looking for a cheapRange Rover for a Hybrid conversion.
On the way back from good old Golden Arches tonight, I stopped at my "usual" drag race set of lights and was joined by a white 2 door Cossie. Got the good to go nod from him, and waited for the lights to change. I took it easy off the lights as I was carring 2 Large cokes in the cupholders. Cossie got an early lead of about 1/2 a car, I reeled a bit back in between gear changes but the Cossie kept the lead bless him!
Did the usual stop and chat. Well modded Cossie running 17psi , RWD (explains why it wheel span in every gear ) Very, very clean car and very fast. It is only the second car to beat me since I've owned the Evo and it made a nice change to be brought back down to earth by an older car.
If you are reading this Rob, nice to meet you and I'll look out for you locally.
It has sort of sealed the deal on me selling the car . I've been thinking about getting rid of it for some time as I want to go back to a RWD car again. I love b@stardizing cars but never really had the heart to do it to the Evo as it cost me so much. So I plan to stick to older cheaper cars , and sink a ton of money into them...........Mac.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Nice one to both peeps, firstly the Evo driver for not being a stuck up snob, like we all can be when into our particular car marque, and secondly the Cossie owner for giving it a good go

mate it says saph in your title and 2 door in the post? 
Good when someone like that can recognise another car and that whilst they have a nice quick car, there are better or similar ones out there. Too many people live on their own planet at times.

The cossie spec is;
200 block
7.2:1 C/R bottom end

803 injectors
3 bar map sensor
A1 rallysport ECU
RS500 intercooler
thats pretty much it,it is a lovely clean motor,and quite quick on that conversion,i drove it a while back when it was pulling a bit more boost(23psi)and was impressed,i think he had the boost down due to a misfire,but i think that is all sorted now

p.s,look out for a standard looking sapphire cos on 17"s and quad lamps in black,thats my old one,the young lad i sold it to a couple of weeks ago is taking on all comers,he wasted an FQ400 on the M6 on sunday

must say, it;s a nice change for someone to admit being beaten and be ok 
craign, had jb as a passenger in mine coming back from cornwall show, and we met a fq340, we raced from 90-150ish, and i passed him about 130ish.
thye not easy but can be done,
needless to say off the line i sure he would wasted me, and i'd have been gutted

spiqy i have no problem with evo 8 fq340s
its this damn evo 6 tommi mak that i cant get rid of
he used to have a t4 8 injector spec escos and he reckon hisevo is faster runnign 1.7 bar

And they hunt in packs!All of those Weston S-M EVO's are very quick Craig........They are serious road racers that dont like being beaten (even by their mates)....Like I said before Mark's VI TME is at least 370 BHP.......he's spent lots on that car

Good on teh Evo driver for being cool about it and not being a tw@t as some people can (regardless of marque).
