There are plenty of rear diffs you could use. But it's whether the ratio's are suitable.

M3 ? M5, Nissan 300, Nissan 200 ?, rwd Skyline or perhaps even 4wd Skyline rear, Supra. All should be relatively easily available locally.

8.8" whilst nice, would need to be sourced from the US. Dont imagine there are many over here.

The Monaro diff is another option, I have one here I might use.

Only concern there is, they readily upgrade to a 9" etc. The diff unit itself is weak, as are the output stubs and shafts.
Although obviously it is fitted to a larger heavier car and with an engine with more torque ( well, than some cars )

With a diff upgrade and output stubs/flanges, then I'm sure it would be very strong. But after the cost of that, you'd have already bought a stronger standard unit.

should be ok i think the stock tt are over 300 lbft, will be 100 times better than the pathetic ford offering of a diff lol

my small case will be for sale maybe next year when i go big case and radials, if you might be interested in it ? carbonetics 1.5 way, leaves 2 thick equal blackys every time
