Default 1600SE engines, expensive?

Looking on ebay at a couple, they seem quite expensive from breakers yards. Is £300+ the norm for one?

Seems a lot given how common they are!

hi, yes i paid 300 for mine all ancillaries attatched right from inlet to starter motor done 52,000, i got mine from a guy who had a few from colchester can give you his number if you wish?

if you need money for zetec turbo then sell it, if its been looked after and clean, and comes with ancilliries then more chance of a sale
