i set off in the most powerfull car of the day, and then it broke down

to say i was upset is a bit of an understatement

eventually though, i was the most powerful 1.25 fiesta of the day

 

this alone prooves the rollers arent far out surely ?

 

everyone keeps saying this thread is gonna be a 10 pager, well thats only because it will be 9.5 pages of people guessing how long the thread is going to be

 

nowhere near comparable your correction factor was to high, take your hub power and remove 10% will roughly equad to your whp on a dd rollers.

 

it was a dynapack hub dyno with a 1.18 correction factor which is far too high iirc it made 429 hub power which would equade to about 386 rwhp on a dyno dynamics, i havnt plucked these numbers from the air either i have calculated them from my own tests.

 

in all seriousness though get a gtech or performance box and test your performance properly measured, 30 - 130 mph figures dont lie. im sure rod said a 500/500 saph does 30 - 130 mph in around 12 seconds.

 

My car ran 449.6 bhp

 

ok so that would be 387 whp on a dyno dynamics and using DD's correction factor of /0.85 gives a flywheel figure of 455 bhp
whatever power it makes its fooking quick on the road (and more than steve ) so i dont really care.

plus EP's rollers were dyno dynamics were they not? and they over read last time the 4i was run apparently, so obviously not ALL DD rollers are perfect.

i agree, t34.63 on greys is supposed to be capable of a good 380/380 without running too much boost for the turbo.

His car looked and sounded savage on the RR, nearly lifted off the rollers but only made 416bhp/380lbs/ft iirc

I know for a fact dougs car will make good power seeing the boost and amount of fuel it is using to get the fuelling correct it can't be anything other than 500 bhp

Try working it out, his car is working 83 lb injectors quite hard at pushing over 32 psi of boost from a T4

My cars graph she was making no power after 5.5k it was tailing off although she was holding the set 28 psi I believe and I think it spiked at around 30 ah well could be worse at least she did not blow up lol

 

And I didn't map it. But I have seen the map and it uses a hell of alot fuel to get to 11.9 afr.

The T34.63 Car made 380/380 which we know is about right for that Spec, so you're saying when Doug put his on the Reading's false?? what-ever....

 

No power after 5,5 k lol that's when a t4 starts to make power. There must be something up mate, get it back in and I will get the boost back up to what she was mapped on which was 37 psi spike

Yes I drive 380 bhp cars all day. Dougs is plenty more powerful than that I can assure you. He would max 55s out at about 4k lol
