Any ford part teccies on??HELP PLEASE
Could Someone PLEASE tell me which make of alternator i got???
Local Parts suppliers are clueless..or 12 yrs old
Is for a 1988 mk2 fez 1.4s(1392 cc i believe)......
Believe its the Original ford one on it but no other maker name on it i can find eg..Bosch/lucas/motorolla/mitsi an the like....
Silver tag from ford on it reads,,
Top serial number is 24200b 12v
date 36-88
type A127/55
G4X2A
Ford part no is 86FB10300AA
Made in UK
an is believed original one as has blue paint on it so could be...Either way its 23 or even 25yr old

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
a127 tells me it is lucas/ magnetti marelli if u can find a motor factor who deals with sovereign rotating machines quote sa407 they will be able to sort out a new / recon alternator from this number
